March 16th marked the two year anniversary for EverQuest - the 3D massively multiplayer online roleplaying game from Verant, Inc.  In that time, literally hundreds of thousands of players have walked the lands of Norrath, making it one of, if not the most successful game of its type ever made.  You can play online simultaneously with over 1500 other players on a server, building your character from the humblest beginnings to the greatest of heros... or scoundrels.

EverQuest's races include: Humans, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Ogres, Trolls, Halflings, Dwarves, Gnomes, Barbarians, Erudites, Half-Elves and the Iksar.

The various classes include: Cleric, Druid, Shaman, Warrior, Rogue, Monk, Ranger, Paladin, Shadow Knight, Bard, Wizard, Magician, Enchanter and Necromancer.   Your character can learn a variety of skills including foreign languages, the use of different weapon types and different trade skills such as blacksmithing, fletching, baking and others.   Your character can advance through 60 levels of play, increasing in power and wealth - acquiring coin and gems, and armor and weapons - both the mundane...and those imbued with powerful magical enchantments.  You can adventure in the wide open Karana Plains or in deep deadly dungeons such as Solusek's Eye and the Ruins of Old Guk - or  venture into deeper dungeons such as Nagafen's Lair or Old Sebilis and confront the terrors of dragons.  In all there are three continents to explore and even alternate planes of existence, where you can defy the gods themselves.
