Faith Of The Fallen follows Richard, the new Lord Rahl and the Seeker of Truth, and his companions, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara in their struggle against a seemingly undefeatable foe - the dreamwalker Emperor Jagang.

Haunted by the people losing faith in him, and a prophecy that revealed no hope for an army standing against Jagang, Richard feels that the time has come for him to step aside until the people can prove themselves to him. But there is no rest for the weary as Richard and Kahlen fall into a trap set by the Sisters of Dark.
